Dance UK's main focus is advocacy and lobbying, working with and on behalf of the dance world to raise the profile of dance and ultimately to increase investment in all sectors of the dance industry.

Advocacy and lobbying is about communicating your message, idea or concerns to the people who matter to you. It could building relationships with politicians, funding bodies, press, sponsors or potential supporters.

A good advocate for dance is passionate and knowledgeable about the sector of dance they want to promote. A good advocate is also organised.
